Case Study: Starz

ACTIVATE and Starz collaborated with 12 influencers to generate awareness and create excitement around the 5th Season premiere of ‘Power’. Influencers selected for this campaign created a total of 24 pieces of original content. 

Challenge

— Engage men and women influencers to create custom content and who were also genuine fans of the show ‘Power’ with less than a two week turn-around time.

Solution

— Activated 12 influencers through ACTIVATE’S influencer technology using the TV Show name to discover true fans resulting in over 400 applicants, further vetting based on personal stories, affinity and passion or the show, as well as audience data and past performance data

— ACTIVATE was able to leverage the Series premiere event for influencers to attend and create compelling custom content 

— Influencers produced authentic custom content including Instagram Stories where followers were prompted to download a week free trial of Starz to help generate awareness
