As consumers remain tied to their screens for working, shopping, and socializing in 2021, social media creators and influencers have reinforced their integral role as authentic, trustworthy voices for commerce-based information.
That said, putting paid media spend behind organic influencer-generated content (IGC) pays dividends when it comes to driving sales and conversions as well as growing reach and impressions. Compared to brand-created content, IGC sees 8 times the engagement because it approaches consumers with the high-quality content they want without being interruptive like a traditional advertisement.
Facebook Ads Manager enables marketers to promote content to targeted audiences, with the option of “boosting” or putting paid media spend behind IGC. But historically, inadequate workflow tools have made requesting and gaining access to multiple influencer accounts extremely time-consuming and tedious. In order to collaborate with influencers, brands had to individually request access from influencers one by one through Facebook Ad Manager, and hope the influencer accepted the request. But now, with Activate’s Content Amplification tool, you can maximize the productivity of a piece of IGC by turning it into a paid ad on Facebook and Instagram.
Boost reach and engagement with Activate’s Content Amplification feature.
With the Content Amplification feature, Activate enables marketers to gain permission to “boost” or create paid advertisements from an influencer’s organic Facebook and Instagram content. Even more, this feature makes it even easier to scale and streamline paid media campaigns, increase reach and ultimately, drive more valuable traffic to your ecommerce storefronts without leaving the Activate platform.
To activate Content Amplification, check the “Request Advertiser access” box as you set up a “New Collaboration” and specify the duration of the term with a start and end date.
An influencer will see your request for Advertiser access in their partner portal, where they can either accept or deny permission. Once an influencer has been hired for a campaign and accepted the request for permission, their account will appear in your Facebook Ad Manager instance. From there, you can start boosting and creating paid ads from their content over the agreed-upon timeframe!
Creators benefit too!
When you use the Content Amplification tool to boost IGC, influencers reap the benefits too. They can reach new audiences beyond their immediate followers, which in turn, drives more traffic and conversions, and ultimately, strengthens the value of your partnership.
